An eye for detail

Today I read an article about a Londoner blogger named Susanna Lau who started blogging for a hobby, and it manifested into something much greater. She doesn't receive any profit for what she does, but she does help other people to do so. Her blogs are now viewed world wide and she helps advertise for people on them. She goes city to city viewing fashion shows and blogging about them. I found this article very enlightening. I would like to one day design my own clothes, and blogging could be a very resourceful way to get my product out there.

Kite Runner Project

For my Kite Runner project I plan on doing the paint/art option because I feel that with art I can really express or show what reading this phenomenal novel has opened my eyes to. There is much in the world that I was unaware of, and I'd like to share what I've learned.

Thinking outside the "box"

Saturday morning I decided to get a hair cut, but I wasn't sure what to do with my hair. I've had braids, waves, and the whole curly top thing, so I was pretty indecisive when my barber came to my house. I sat and thought hard in the chair until it came to me. I told him I wanted a high top fade. I love the 80's and I try to dress pretty retro, so the hair cut would put the icing on the cake. Contrary to popular demand the hair cut was a success. At first there were jokes but shortly after the jokes came the flattery, and after the flattery comes the copy cats, but that's High School in a nut shell. 80's fashion has always been something that has drawn my attention. Jean jackets, bright colors, and the lack of symmetry catches the eyes of people, and I plan on making a living on the distribution of eye catching apparel.
